ABOUT US
Angela Nichole Mott

I was born February 19th, 1980 on Ft. Benning Army base in Columbus, GA. I am "big sis" to two sisters and a brother. I spent my early childhood and preteen years traveling the world with my military family. At the age of 5, I asked Jesus Christ to come into her heart after hearing a Sunday School lesson on sin, and Jesus. My home was one of emotional and physical abuse throughout my childhood and teen years. My family settled in Tampa during the 90's and I graduated from Victory Christian Academy in 1998. I attended and finished college at the University of South Florida as a Communications major in 2003. During my college years I began to see my Christianity as one of empty rules and laws.

After college I found myself jobless, empty, angry and confused.  One evening I said to God ,"There has to be more to this thing!" I clearly heard the voice of God tell me to become absolutely desperate for Him. I began to search the scriptures intensely, talk to God as if her were a person instead of an object and earnestly seek him daily. In doing so I encountered who God really is and discovered who I am in Him. Relationship replaced rituals and routine in my life. In 2007 I began to teach small group Bible study during my lunch breaks at work to a group of about 30 people and in doing so found my purpose. After reading John 17 one day, I felt led to do something that would make a worldwide impact.

One night soon after, I had a dream that I was leading,re-directing and trying to get the attention of thousands of hurt, abused and lost girls, teens and women who were struggling to find their way. This dream sparked the vision in me for HER. Healing, leading, listening to and loving the used woman, abused teenager and unloved girl is at the very heart of HER because it’s at the very heart of Him. I currently reside in Tampa with my fish "Mr. T", am a girls small group leader in the High School Youth Ministry at Grace Family Church in Tampa and am a mentor to local teenage girls. I teach piano part time, enjoy the arts, fitness and peace of mind. I am currently purposely enjoying every breath of life God gives me and am relentless in living life to the fullest!

I was born in the boogey down Bronx, New York. My mother is from Puerto Rico and my Father is from Panama. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. I am a middle child. I never thought that I would end up in Florida but here I am. We moved to Florida when my father passed away. I was only 9 years old.
Moving to Florida was really hard. I came from a busy city, lots of people and entertainment to a slower, southern state.
Beautiful, but a little too slow pace for me.

Well, needless to say, I got use to Florida and now I love it.I am married and have 2 beautiful girls. I graduated from college and have my degree in Marketing. My dream was to always have a business or organization that specialized in helping people. Well, I can say that my dream finally came true. I am one of the co-founders of HER Inc. I realized at an early age that helping women, girls and teens is where I feel most fulfilled. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love singing, traveling and making people laugh. I look forward to using the gifts that GOD blessed me with to help other people in this journey called life.

I was born in New Jersey to parents from Dominican Republic, raised as the youngest along side two sisters and one brother.  Although I belonged in this family I always felt out of place or like I didn't belong.  After much resistance from me, my parents decided to move us to Tampa Florida where the culture was very different and took some getting used to. I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Hillsborough Community College where I pursued a degree in International Business. I had my whole life mapped out, graduate by 22, global business woman by 24, family and children by 30. What I didn't plan on was meeting Jesus at the age of 19 when a friend invited me to a get together at his church.

This was an experience like no other, and I've never been the same since God changed the plans I had made for my life. I currently reside in Tampa with my husband, child and immediate family.  I am one of the co-founders of HER, Inc; director of the Morning Star Church Prayer Ministry; leader of Girls With Grace a mentorship and relationship strengthening small group for mothers and daughters.  My favorite past times are reading, writing, friends, and family.  I am glad the author of my book is Jesus because the story is getting better every day.
